题目Title:Unconventional excitonic states in layered SiP2 and the dynamic tuning in the quantum topological materials
摘要Abstract
Many-body interactions between quasiparticles (electrons, excitons and phonons) have led to the emergence of new complex correlated states and are at the core of condensed matter physics and material science. In this talk, we systemically demonstrate an unconventional excitonic state and its bound phonon sideband in layered silicon diphosphide (SiP2), in which the bound electron-hole pair is composed of electrons confined within one-dimensional phosphorus–phosphorus chains and holes extended in two-dimensional SiP2 layers. The excitonic state and the emergent phonon sideband show linear dichroism and large energy redshifts with increasing temperature. Within the GW plus Bethe–Salpeter equation calculations and solving the generalized Holstein model non-perturbatively, we confirm that the observed sideband feature results from the correlated interaction between excitons and optical phonons. Furthermore, we show the excitonic states could be tuned via layer stacking in SiP2. In the second part, I will focus on the emergence of new phenomena and the related topological properties in non-equilibrium, including the light induced anomalous Hall effect in graphene and topological phase transition driven by nonlinear phononic coupling.
报告人简介About the speaker
汤沛哲,本科毕业于兰州大学,之后保送清华大学攻读博士学位。于 2015年1月从清华大学物理系博士毕业,师从段文晖教授。2015年3月至2017年10月,在美国斯坦福大学张首晟教授研究组进行博士后研究,从事拓扑物性以及相关体系磁性质的研究。2017年11月至2018年4月,在德国马克思普朗克结构与动力学研究所(MPSD),Angel Rubio 教授研究组进行博士后研究。2018年4月获得 Marie-Curie Fellow,继续在 Angel Rubio 教授研究组工作,主要是从事量子材料非平衡物性的研究。2019年入选国家“青年海外高层次人才”计划。目前任职北京航空航天大学材料科学与工程学院,担任准聘教授,博士生导师。截至2022年3月,已在高影响因子杂志上发表文章 30余篇,其中包括 Science,Nature Physics, Nature Nano, PNAS, PRL 等,总引用3500余次。
