【题  目】 Dispersive gate sensing in hybrid quantum dot systems

【摘  要】The talk will focus on the implementation of radio frequency reflectometry for dispersive gate sensing in hybrid quantum dot systems. These hybrid systems, constructed using semiconductor nanowires, involve metal etching and barrier gates to create semiconductor quantum dots and superconducting islands in series. The combination of this measurement technique with the hybrid system is expected to pave the way for future topological qubit readouts and is currently being used to characterize electronic properties through quantum capacitance. The talk will explain the mechanism behind the dispersive readout of quantum capacitance, present methods for obtaining functional devices with off-chip resonators, and give examples of how its measurement contributes to the understanding of the hybrid system.

【报告人简介】Lin Han got her bachelor degree from Nankai University, China. After that, she went to Technische University Munchen (TUM) to start her master research. Then, she got her PhD from Delft University of Technology under the supervision of Prof. Leo Kouwenhoven. She continued her research as a postdoctoral researcher with Prof. Leo Kouwenhoven. She is currently engaged in the field of semiconductor-superconductor composite topological quantum devices. She has made important research achievements in RF reflection fast readout, nanowire spin-orbit coupling, etc. Her research field is dispersive sensing in hybrid quantum dot systems.
