报告摘要:Iron-based superconducting vortex has emerged as a promising platform for Majorana quasiparticle. Through four-years intensive studies, substantial achievements have been made on several compounds, including Fe(Te,Se), (Li,Fe)OHFeSe, CaKFe4As4 and LiFeAs. For example, the discovery of integer series of quantized bound states manifests nontrivial topology of vortex zero mode, promises a hope to the field of Majorana research. In this talk, I will depict the main profile of this emerging Majorana platform, on the aspects of materials, bound states, experimental configurations, and etc. Its advantages on physics study and the major controversies owing to the practical diversity will be discussed in short. The systematic investigations accomplished on the platform can promote the entrance to a second-phase research for manipulating Majorana zero modes in iron-based superconducting vortices.

孔令元,本科毕业于山东大学, 2020年于中国科学院物理研究所取得博士学位,师从丁洪研究员。主要使用角分辨光电子能谱和扫描隧道显微镜从事铁基超导体、拓扑超导电性、马约拉纳准粒子等问题的实验研究。近年来,作为丁洪-高鸿钧联合团队成员,在铁基超导体涡旋中发现了马约拉纳零能模,实现了一系列研究进展。相关成果发表在Science、Nature Physics、Nature Communications、《物理学报》等期刊。2020年获中科院院长特别奖,同年入选美国加州理工学院AWS-Quantum postdoctoral fellow。
