【题目】Error-resilient quantum sensing
【摘要】Quantum sensing exploits the extreme sensitivity of quantum systems to perturbations to acquire minute signals from the environment. To detect signals accurately and reliably, it is crucial to address errors in control fields and decoherence noise from the environment. In this talk, we present robust quantum sensing protocols. In particular, we show that the use of the quantum adiabatic jumping protocol allows for reliable quantum sensing of dynamical signals. This approach can simultaneously (1) suppress the effect of errors in the control fields, (2) prolong quantum coherence times for higher sensitivity, and (3) remove spurious responses and higher harmonics that are commonly encountered in dynamical decoupling (DD) sensing sequences. This provides a new route for developing sensing protocols beyond DD-based techniques.
【报告人简介】王振宇,华南师范大学物理学院教授,2012年于香港中文大学获得博士学位,之后在德国乌尔姆大学理论物理所从事博士后研究工作,长期从事量子控制、量子传感、金刚石NV色心等方面的理论研究工作。已在包括Physical Review Letters, Science Advances,Nature Communications 等多个期刊发表论文三十多篇。在剑桥大学出版社的《Quantum Error Correction》撰写书章节一章。
